How to book a dummy ticket online, step by step

To book a dummy ticket online with Flight Dummy Tickets, enter the route, dates and passenger names through the form or chat. Pay ₹799 per passenger through Razorpay. The reservation is sent by email and WhatsApp in approximately 10 minutes. This guide explains the booking steps and the details to verify before payment to avoid a re-issue.

Before you start: five things to have on hand

• Each traveller's passport, open at the photo page. Names come from here and nowhere else.
• Departure and arrival cities. For a Schengen trip, decide which country you enter and leave from before you order.
• Travel dates that agree with your leave letter, insurance and hotel bookings. Settle these before you order, not after.
• An email address you can open on your phone and a WhatsApp number.
• Your appointment or submission date, because it decides when you should place the order.

Option A: the booking form

1. Open the booking form.
2. Under Personal Details, enter the title, first name, last name, date of birth and nationality of the first traveller as printed in the passport. The optional Scan Passport button fills these from a photo. Use Add Another Passenger for each further traveller.
3. Under Contact Details, give a phone number and email.
4. Under Ticket Details, enter origin, destination and departure date for Flight 1. Fill the return date for a round trip or leave it empty for one-way; one-way, return and multi-city reservations all cost ₹799 / $10 per passenger. For a multi-city route, press Add Another Flight and enter each leg in travel order.
5. If your checklist also requests accommodation, press Add A Hotel and enter the city with check-in and check-out dates.
6. Select the purpose, use Any Message for requests such as a preferred airline, choose when and how you want to receive the document, and press Proceed to pay.

Option B: the chat assistant with passport auto-fill

The chat assistant collects the same details in conversation. Its useful shortcut is passport reading: upload a clear photo of the passport's photo page and the name fields are filled from it, which removes the most common source of errors. This is useful on a phone and for families, where typing four or five full names is tedious.

For a good read, photograph the page flat, in daylight, with both lines of the machine-readable strip at the bottom fully visible and no glare on the laminate. Check the names the assistant shows you before confirming. Auto-fill reduces typing mistakes; it does not replace your own look.

Paying

Payment runs through Razorpay. In India you can use UPI, debit or credit cards, or net banking. Customers paying from abroad are charged in their own currency. Delivery and the three-minute check

The reservation PDF is delivered to you by email and WhatsApp approximately 10 minutes after payment. Look in the spam or promotions folder before assuming it has not arrived.

Then check it, in this order:

1. Every name against the passport, letter by letter.
2. Dates, including the arrival date on overnight flights, which can be a day later than departure.
3. Airports. Cities with more than one airport are where surprises happen.
4. The booking reference on the airline's website, using the steps in how to verify a dummy ticket PNR.

Report anything wrong straight away. Corrections are simplest on the day of issue.

Input mistakes that cause problems later

• Surname and given name swapped. Indian passports sometimes leave the surname field blank or hold the father's name in it. Enter the fields as the passport prints them and mention a blank surname in the notes.
• Initials expanded or dropped. 'R Kumar' on the form and 'Ramesh Kumar' on the passport will not match.
• Wrong month. Date pickers default to the current month. Read the summary line prior to payment.
• Return date that exceeds the visa you are asking for, or falls before your hotel checkout.
• Infants and children left out. Every traveller in the application needs to be on a reservation, including a child who will sit on a lap.
• A typo in the email address. The WhatsApp copy is your backup, so give a number that has WhatsApp.
• Ordering too early. The reservation is verifiable for up to 2 weeks, so place the order a few days before submission, not a month ahead.

Can I order for someone else, such as my parents?

Yes. Enter their names from their passports and your own email and WhatsApp number for delivery. The reservation is in the travellers' names; who pays does not appear on it.

Do I need to upload my passport to book?

No. The form works with typed names. Uploading the photo page in the chat assistant is optional and exists only to fill the name fields accurately.
